Look at the world from a different perspective - dive down to the silent underworld and experience life at a different depth. Alternatively get a glimpse of it from above using a mask and snorkel. There's lots to discover under the surface.

Scuba diving opens up a whole new world underwater. Explore the warm clear waters of the Mediterranean, which are a great place to learn. The dive centres we use in Turkey and Jersey are members of PADI, the long established Professional Association of Diving Instructors.
 
Qualified divers can book dive packages and just go diving. If you've never tried before then you have a choice of experiences ranging from:
 
• Introduction to Scuba Diving (usually a half day) from £20
A short theory lesson followed by a short dive with an instructor down to a maximum depth of 5m.

• PADI Scuba diver (usually 2 days) from £130*
This course consists of a number of theory sessions, confined water dives and open water dives. Once you have successfully completed it you will be qualified to dive up to a depth of 12m with a Divemaster or Instructor. This course counts towards your Open Water qualification.
 
• PADI Open Water Diver (usually 4 days) from £190
The most recognised diving qualification in the world. As a certified Open Water Divers you can dive to a maximum of 18m with another qualified diver. It also opens the door to PADI's continuing training programme.
 
You don't need to be an athlete to dive, but a good level of general fitness is advisable. You will also be asked to fill in a simple medical questionnaire checking you are medically fit to dive.  

For the Scuba diver and Open Water courses you will need to purchase a copy of the PADI "Open Water Manual and Metric RDP table" and pay an additional PADI certification fee.

Jersey

Scuba Diving (10 yrs+)  Instructors from H2O can take you out for a Try Dive which is an introduction to the marine world. No experience is necessary for this session and all equipment is provided for a one hour dive in a pool or confined water in the sea. The dive will be down to a 6m max depth. Discover Scuba and Scuba diver courses also available. (1.5 - 2 hrs) What to bring: swimming costume and towel.
