A friendly smile awaits you at the family-run Hotel Tamarisk, making you feel right at home. Walk through the gardens from the hotel reception and you will find your room in a series of pretty, flower-decked villas. Continue through the gardens and you will find the pool before you get to the beachfront.

With so many activities to choose from you're bound to work up an appetite. The poolside snack bar is perfect for lunch and refreshments throughout the day and is easily accessible from the pool and the beach. In the evening, you can dine at the fantastic à la carte restaurant.

It's an easy walk to the Ortakent promenade, host to several eateries, or if you fancy heading further afield, the pretty town of Bitez has some great Turkish and international restaurants along the sea front.

Club Active Tamarisk sits on the longest beach on the Bodrum Peninsula and our watersports centre is conveniently situated next to the hotel, so you're never far away from the action. There are plenty of watersports available for enthusiasts of all levels.

By day, take to the waves and indulge your active side, or kick back and relax along the beachfront. 

Take it easy by the large pool and cool off with a refreshing swim, or indulge yourself with a massage or beauty treatment with our in-house therapist. If you need to dry out, why not try a spot of yoga or explore the local area by bike.

Explore the area
Right next door to the hotel you will find the beach bars and restaurants of 'Palovera' and 'Dalga'. There is also a selection of sea food restaurants further along the stretch of the Ortakent beach front known as 'Yahsi'.

The neighbouring village of Bitez offers a vibrant evening out with its traditional Turkish restaurant - it's about 5 mins away by taxi.  Less than 20 minutes away to the east, Bodrum plays host to a fascinating mix of seafront restaurants and cosmopolitan bars. Pick up a bargain at one of the market stalls and craft shops that line the streets, or visit the impressive castle of St Peter.

Visa requirements
Your passport should be valid for at least six months on entry into Turkey and have at least three months' validity on the date you are exiting Turkey.  If you hold a Travel Document it must be valid for at least one year on entry into Turkey.

British visitors to Turkey need to purchase a tourist visa on arrival at the airport (£10, change is not usually available). All other nationalities should contact the Turkish consulate for visa information.
