Zell am See offers biking to suit all standards of cyclists. There are easy tours such as the route to Kaprun or you can choose the more strenuous trail towards Saalfelden.

The resort’s lift system allows you to take your bike up to more rugged mountain trails and for the experienced ‘downhillers’ a trip to the bike park in Leogang is a must.

Up for a challenge? Tackle the 2002 World Championship track - 8.2 kms long with a vertical drop of 295m!

hiking

Walkers have a fabulous choice of easy lakeside walks and more challenging mountain hikes.

The cable cars and chairlifts offer easy access to the mountains to enjoy lovely ridge walks including the famous ‘View of 200 Peaks’ from the Schmittenhöhe.

In the town of Zell am See there are 44 hiking paths leading into the mountains with an additional 39 routes starting in the neighbouring village of Kaprun.
